Our Shared Commitment

Training Philosophy

All training is conducted using force-free, non-aversive methods. This means we do not use physical punishment, fear, pain, intimidation, or tools such as prong collars, choke chains, shock collars, or any other aversive equipment. Training focuses on positive reinforcement, management, and humane behaviour modification techniques.

Owner Commitment

Successful training depends on consistency and follow-through. The owner/handler agrees to:

Attend sessions on time and actively participate
Practise training exercises between sessions as instructed
Maintain realistic expectations and understand that behaviour change takes time
Communicate honestly about progress, challenges, and any changes in the dog’s environment or behaviour

Dog Welfare & Safety

The owner confirms that:

The dog is in good health and free from contagious illness
Any known behavioural concerns (e.g. aggression, anxiety, bite history) have been disclosed prior to training
The dog is up to date with vaccinations where appropriate or discussed in advance
Training may be paused or adjusted if the dog shows signs of excessive stress, illness, or fatigue

Payment & Cancellations

Payment for your selected package is required in advance of your first session and within 7 days OR the date specified on the invoice. All sessions included in a package must be used within the timeframe stated at the time of purchase. Unused sessions after this period will be forfeited.

Important Policy Highlight

We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice. For cancellations within 48 hours or non-appearance, the full rate will be charged. If you cancel a booking within 7 days of making payment, you will receive a refund minus a processing/admin fee of £30. If you decide that you no longer wish to continue attending training sessions once the programme has commenced, a refund will not be issued.

Liability & Other Terms

While every effort is made to ensure safety, the owner accepts full responsibility for their dog’s behaviour at all times. The trainer is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss caused by the dog during or after training sessions. Only approved, humane equipment will be used, and children must be supervised at all times during sessions.

By booking and attending sessions, the owner confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
